DAY 2: Final trekking preparation in Kathmandu, B, Hotel
Final preparation for the upcoming adventure Annapurna circuit with Upper Mustang will be done. Since it’s going to be a long and arduous journey ahead, we need this time in Kathmandu to warm ourselves up before departing out. You can opt to go for sightseeing if you wish.

After having a healthy breakfast, we will take a drive towards Chyamje. It will take us around 8 hours of ride. Chyamje will be our starting point of the trek where we will spend our first night.

It will take us about 7 to 8 hours to reach Manang from Pisang. Pisang is divided into two divisions. We will take lower Pisang as our routes. Since it is short, strenuous and stretched over multiple ridges that offer the magnificent views of Annapurna III.
DAY 9: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka 4,110 m, BLD, Teahouse
Our journey towards the upper belt of Manang region begins with the normal hiking after having the relaxing, proper breakfast in the lodge. The trail is quite different than the earlier ones. After you cross the first stream, you will ascend to the Tenki village which lies just above Manang and is inhabited by the ethnic Limbu community. Climb further to the Marshyangdi valley followed by the valley of Jarsang Khola. You shall then follow the valley northwards again and continue towards the village of Ghunsa. Eventually, we will arrive in Yak Kharka after crossing a wooden bridge, where we shall spend the relaxing and warm overnight.
DAY 10: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi 4,540 m or Thorong High Camp 4,600 m, BLD, Teahouse
Nearly approaching the day when we are crossing the highest pass in the world. Just another push before we get to the top. It's mostly uphill but slightly except the part when we arrive at the bottom of Thorang High Camp. If all is well, we will climb the steep ascent part of our journey which will last only an hour. Thorang Phedi and also the High Camp is the bustling settlement that caters to all sorts of trekkers. For those who are unable to climb to the High Camp, base camp is also another option. Whichever suits you, we will go with it and we prepare ourself for the next day which is obviously the highlight of our entire adventure, Thorang La Pass.
DAY 11: Trek from Thorong Camp to Muktinath 3,800 m via Thorong La Pass 5,416 m, BLD, Teahouse
Today, we will walk towards one of the most famous holy pilgrimage sites of Nepal for both Hindus and Buddhists. We will cross the popular Thorong La pass and descend towards Muktinath. Enjoying our walk slowly and gently, we will conquer the pass. Eye-catching views of the southern Annapurna ranges and Mukti Himal to the west of Dolpo can be seen en route.
DAY 12: Trek from Muktinath to Chuuksang 2,920 m, BLD, Teahouse
Today we enter the restricted area of Upper Mustang. It will take us around 6 hours to reach Chuuksang from Muktinath. We will start our journey in the flat trail and cross the suspension bridge. After sometime, we will reach Gyu La Pass 4,030 m. This is an amazing vantage point from where you can witness marvelous pictures of Mt Dhaulagiri, Dhampus Peak, Tukuche Peak, Thapa Peak, Thorong peak, Mt Tilicho and other mountains.
DAY 13: Trek from Chuuksang to Samar 3,150 m, BLD, Teahouse
The nice walk today will take us around 6 hours to reach Samar. Passing through these trails you can notice the change in the topography and also the cultural diversity. We will walk further to the north and walk over the suspension bridge of roaring Kali Gandaki River to arrive at Samar.
DAY 14: Trek from Samar to Geling 3,500 m, BLD, Teahouse
We will start our day with a walk above Samsar to a ridge crossing through shady Juniper trees. After a couple of hours, we will come across a stream and walk down the ridge which will lead us to Syangbochen. From there, we gently climb uphill to emerge in another valley just to descend for a bit to reach our stop Geling.
DAY 15: Trek from Geling to Charang 3,620 m via Nyi La Pass 4,020 m, BLD, Teahouse
In this day, we will come across Tama Gaun and an imposing chorten. Now we will make the upward climb towards Nyi La Pass and later make a descent towards Charang. We can witness the maze of willow trees, fields and the houses separated by stone walls from here.
DAY 16: Trek from Charang to Lo Manthang 3,700 m, BLD, Teahouse
Today we will start our day walking down towards Charang Cho Canyon and then uphill. It will take around 5 hours of rough walk to reach Lo Manthang. The trail goes to the north where you can see a large silent chorten marking the boundary between Charang and Lo Manthang. Lo Manthang is filled with many famous gompas like Thugchen Ghompa, Jampa Lakhang and Chodi Ghompa and also the Royal Palace of Mustang.
DAY 17: Lo Manthang, rest and exploration day, BLD, Teahouse
Ex capital of the Mustang Kingdom, Lo Manthang is an amazing wonderland where you can explore so much and spend days if you have time. You can even hire the pony ride in this rest day when exploring the vicinity.
DAY 18: Trek from Lo Manthang to Ghaymi 3,520 m, BLD, Teahouse
Today we will pass through Lo Gekar which is the home to Ghar Ghompa, supposedly the oldest Vajrayana monastery in the Himalayan region. We also cross many lush green as well as barren valleys on the way including Marang La Pass. We continue our walk to Dhamkar where we will have our Lunch. After lunch, we do a quick climb to a ridge and descend down to Ghaymi.
DAY 19: Trek from Ghaymi to Samar, BLD, Teahouse
Today, we will make a reverse move to Samsar. We will trek across Geling and cross a beautiful stream to reach Samsar. It will take us around 5 hours of walk.
DAY 20: Trek from Samsar to Kagbeni 2,804 m, BLD, Teahouse
In this wonderful day of traversing through the barren lands of Upper Mustang, we descend downhill in the first part to reach Chhuksang. Crossing the suspension bridge of Kali Gandaki River we will continue to walk along the bank of the river. Relishing the amazing natural vegetation and apple orchards en route we continue walking gently for few hours until we reach Kagbeni.
DAY 21: Trek from Kagbeni to Jomsom 2,715 m, BLD, Teahouse
This is the day when we will finally exit the Restricted area of Upper Mustang. It will take us around 4 hours of easy walk to reach Jomsom. The trail is mostly flat and along the riverbed till the end of the trail. Pass the settlement of Eklebhatti before arriving finally at Jomsom.
DAY 22: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, B, Hotel

How is the Accommodation during the Annapurna Circuit and Upper Mustang Trek?
In Annapurna Circuit and Upper Mustang Trek, we will provide you the teahouse accommodations. A teahouse is typically a mountain lodge which is a combination of a lodge or a guest house and a restaurant or a café with basic furniture and interiors suitable for the social hangout. Many teahouses even have some attached bathrooms and the central heating furnace. Most of the teahouses provide the European toilets these days while Asian style of toilets are available in every teahouses. Hot showers are available but on extra cost. The same goes with the hot drinking water since they use the gas or solar to boil the water. Sleeping blankets are usually provided but we recommend you to carry your own sleeping bags for the hygienic purpose {can be arranged on request}. At the same time, it’s better to carry your own toiletries including the towels.
