Chulu east peak climbing is one of the most gorgeous peaks in whole Himalayan lying in the Annapurna Himalayan range. Chulu east peak climbing provides breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, the Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Mt. Manaslu.

Climbing Chulu East Peak (6,584m) with Nature Lovers  Treks and Tours is a great way to spice up your trek in the Annapurna region. As it is situated in the legendary Manang valley, the trekking trail for climbing this snowy peak is a memorable route which provides the most beautiful views on surrounding peaks, as well as rich green forests of Nepal.  We will be able to enjoy the outlandish landscape of Manang and its unique settlement.

 The Chulu east peak climbing is adventurous and easy, but the peak climbing is quite challenging for the beginners. It is essential to be familiar with the use of crampons, ice axe as well as previous experience with roped glacier crossing for the Chulu east peak climbing. Autumn and spring season are considered as the best time for Chulu Peak climbing. During the Chulu east peak climbing, you can experience different yak pasture, diverse flora and fauna, traditional culture of Manangi people, and the amazing scenery of the mountain summit. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport Nepal and transfer to Hotel, Hotel

Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will meet our office staff and you will be transferred to the hotel. Our tour organizer will give you a little briefing about the climbing and other travel-related services. You can ask any question you may have with a tour organizer and your tour guide. You have to hire all the necessary climbing equipment for the Chulu east peak climbing. Once fully packed and prepared, we load up and begin our adventure!

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and trek to Bhulbhule, BLD, Teahouse

From Kathmandu, we will travel to small and the ancient town of Besisahar. The scenery of the mountains and rivers will keep you fascinated throughout the ride. It will take about five to six hours long to get there. Once you get to Besisahar, two hour trekking to Bhulbhule. Overnight stay in a local lodge.

Day 03: Trek from Bhulbhule to Chyamje, BLD, Teahouse

After breakfast at the lodge, we will trek to Chyamje, enjoying the wonderful view of the beauty around us. We will walk for around five hours to reach this picturesque mountain village where we will spend the night.

Day 04: Trek from Chyamje to Dharapani, BLD, Teahouse

After breakfast, we will trek to the beautiful region of Dharapani today. After crossing the big Marshyangdi River, we will continue to trek uphill to reach Tal village. From there, you will trek for a few hours to reach Dharapani.

Day 05:  Trek from Dharapani to Chame, BLD, Teahouse

After breakfast, we will walk toward the northwest along with Marshyangdi River in Dharapani. The trail goes walking through the beautiful view of the vicinity. The herbage and settlements seem to be different from here as we enter high altitude. The influence of Tibetan lifestyle is strong in this region. The view of peaks is truly beautiful from here. Overnight stay in a local tea house.

Day 06: Trek from Chame to Pisang, BLD, Teahouse

After breakfast, we will trek to Pisang, a small village along the bank of Marshyangdi River. We will walk through beautiful evergreen forests and small settlements of the mountain people. You will notice the surrounding changing as natural trees and plants become tougher as the terrain begins to shift to a drier, more desert-like environment.

Day 07: Trek from Pisang to Manang, BLD, Teahouse

After breakfast, you climb gently up through the valley of pine and juniper forest to the Tibetan-styled village of Braga. After trekking for around 2 hours we will reach a ridge from where we can have a beautiful view of Manang. We will spend the night in Manang.

Day 08: Acclimatization day in Manang, BLD, Teahouse

As we are moving to higher elevations, we need to acclimatize to avoid the risk of altitude sickness. Manang is the perfect spot with its beautiful natural setting. Hence, you can enjoy with the locals or take a few short hikes to admire the local scenery and learn more about the lifestyle, economy, culture, etc of the local people.

Day 09: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka, BLD, Tented camping

Today we leave the classic Annapurna Round trek and walk northwards to Yak Kharka. While trekking, we can have the most amazing view of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. On the way, we come across goat and yak pastures. Finally, we reach our destination, Yak Kharka where we will make camp near a stunning ridge offering views of the powerful mountains looming over the valley. Overnight stay in a camp.

Day 10: Climb from Yak Kharka to Chulu Peak Base Camp, BLD, Tented camping

After enjoying a refreshing sunrise view in the morning, we will trek uphill towards Chulu East Peak. Here you will enjoy the gorgeous views on the surrounding mountains. We will trek for about five hours through the main trail. We will take some rest once we reach the Chulu East Peak base camp.

Day 11: Climb from Chulu Peak Base camp to summit and back to base camp, BLD, Tented camping

From the high camp, we will ascend the peak from the east side. The climbing will be quite tough, your instructor will guides you up to the rocks, helping you every step of the way. After ascending the main trail, we will finally reach the summit and then slowly descend and return to base camp.

Day 12: Trek from Chulu East Base camp to Letdar, BLD, Tented Camping

After breakfast, we will slowly trek downwards towards Letdar with a beautiful view of the hills and mountains. We will spend the night here at a camp.

Day 13: Trek from Letdar to Thorong Phedi, BLD, Teahouse

After breakfast at camp, we will trek to Thorong Phedi, from here we can have a beautiful view of the mountains. After trekking for around 4 hours, we will reach Thorong La Phedi. Overnight at a local lodge.

Day 14: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La, BLD, Teahouse

We will gradually go upwards to the Thorong La top. We enjoy the view of the mountain summits from the Thorong La top.  Then, we will trek to reach Muktinath. The local area is stunning over here. We will stay overnight at Muktinath. While we are there, we will visit the Muktinath temple, which is the most important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Day 15: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom, BLD, Teahouse

We will head down the Kali Gandaki Gorge past the town of Kagbeni, a beautiful place and economic hub of the region, before arriving in Jomson. We will spend the night to explore more about the local culture and customs of the Tibetan people and relax in a peaceful atmosphere.

Day 16: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, B, Hotel

We will take a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. It will take around 35 minutes. The flight will offer a great view of mountains and hills. We will explore the beautiful city of Pokhara on arrival.

Day 17: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, B, Hotel

After breakfast, drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. You can enjoy the diverse landscape and the scenic bus ride will keep you refreshed throughout the journey. On reaching Kathmandu, you can stroll around this dynamic city and buy gifts and souvenirs to take back home.

Day 18: Final International Departure, B, Flight.

With the farewell gift of our company’s logo printed t-shirt, our office staff will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home. We wish you a happy journey and will be always ready to help you travel around this amazing country. Goodbye.
