Kailash Manasarovar tour is an epic journey to the abode of spiritual deities, according to Hinduism and Buddhism. Mount Kailash is the holiest of all places. It is a lofty mountain and is the center of the world as believed by Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, Bon religion and Jainism. Mount Kailash, known as the “Precious Jewel of Snows” in Tibetan, is considered by Buddhists to be the abode of the deity Chakrasamvara. Similarly, for Hindus, it's the humble abode of Lord Shiva and the goddess Parvati. It is believed that by doing 108 circumambulations, one will reach enlightenment.

The holy and great Tibetan saint Milarepa once declared, “There is no place more powerful for practice, more blessed, or more marvelous than this. May all pilgrims and practitioners be welcome!”

The Kailash Manasarovar tour thus is one of the most famous journeys in the world done by thousands of pilgrims and practitioners every year. Depending on the visitor's duration, this tour can last 10 to 15+ days. People from any age group can join. It is recommended that the travelers are in good shape before departing for the adventurous journey to Manasarovar Lake and Mount Kailash because of the high altitude that one has to face most of the days.
