Classic trek from Tingri to EBC

Tingri to Everest Base Camp is a classic, outstanding trek that combines the physical challenge in the wilderness of the Himalayas, the warmth of the typical Tibetan people and insights into the local cultural values and significances. Within a few days of trekking, you will complete 70km of the journey with an altitude variation from 3600m to 5200m.

The journey will begin straight from Lhasa city. Explore the magnificent Potala Palace, the beautiful Norbulingka Summer Palace, the holy Johkang temple and the lively Barkhor market. Also, visit the Sera monastery and Drepung Monastery on the way out of the city. We will drive to the Old Tingri via Gyantse and Shigatse to begin our trek. On the way to the Everest Base Camp, explore the valleys and glaciers below the massive North face of Mt. Everest and view the most mind-blowing scenery on the world's highest mountain.
